High Lodge Forest Centre

The best place to start an exploration of the wonderful and easily accessible Thetford Forest is here; walking and cycling trails, children's play areas, bird watching opportunities and food facilities are all at hand. Music concerts by top bands often attract big crowds to this Forestry Commission park but you will find enough open spaces and lovely views to let you enjoy a more peaceful today out too.

Market Days

The long running Brandon market takes place every Thursday and Saturday. Market Place is also an excellent to start your wander through the historic town and to browse in the independent shops and cafés which the town is noted for.

This ancient flint mine includes a visitor centre, gift shop and the chance to lower yourself into a mine shaft.
